The leading House of representatives aspirant in the forthcoming 2023 election in Alimosho Federal Constituency, Barrister Adekunle Adegunle also known as OKO OPO has bagged an Award of special recognition from Alimosho Youth Development Association of Nigeria (AYDAN).
The event which was a get-together party marks the 10th years anniversary of grassroots awareness was held at 4 Sure Hotel & Suit, Abiodun Ariori Close 32 Road, Akinogun Gowon Estate Egbeda Lagos.
AYDAN General Secretary, Thani Kamil Opeyemi who acknowledged the impacts of the awardee said ‘in a bid to raise awareness for a better Alimosho, they identify Worthy individuals in the Community and award their actions’, it was in this note that, Barr. Adekunle Adegunle was conferred with ‘Humanitarian Excellence award’
Represented by his media aide , Kehinde Adeleye, said he appreciates the organizers for deeming it fit to recognize people who have truly made impact in the community.
He also made it known that the name OKO OPO can be traced back to Barrister Adekunle Adegunle University days, when he lost a dear friend leaving his kids and wife alone. it was this singular act that triggers his love for widows, however the young Barrister is a friend of everyone, especially the youth, irrespective of Age, Status or Religion.
