Dr. Anthony Adebayo (Ibarapa Kan) to Chair Ibarapa Security Summit organized by YNN

To provide lasting solution to the lingering insecurity facing Nigeria today and most especially the Igangan and Igboho community in Ibarapa land, the foremost youth focused organisation, Youth for New Nigeria (YNN) has concluded plans to host the first of its kind youth driven security summit in the region.

The event jointly put together by all youth groups under the umbrella of Federation of Ibarapa Students Association (FIBSA) ably led by Hon. Dimeji Ogunjobi and YNN has rally round all the stakeholders including political, traditional, communal and other security organisations to arrive at a concrete action plan to total resolve all lingering insecurity and social threats to the indigenes and residents of the land.

Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju well known and referred to as Ibarapa Kan who is the Chairman of Oyo State Water Corporation will be chairing the summit to arrive at a lasting solution to be executed by the state government and all parties concerned.

Also billed to speak at thw summit are the Honourable Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly who represents Ibarapa East, Hon. Peter Ojedokun who represents Ibarapa North and Central at the State House of Assembly, all the traditional rulers across the 7 major towns of Ibarapa, the members representing the region at the green chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Ajibola Muraina and Hon. Yemi Taiwo of Ibarapa North and Central federal constituency and Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency respectively and many more.

Alhaji Onike Rahaman will be given the keynote address.

The convener, Comrade Sunday Obanubi in his words said, YNN stands for peace, progress and prosperity and where there is no peace, there can’t be progress talk more prosperity of the people and the land. The summit is aimed at promoting and achieving peace and love for the good of all.

The security and youth leadership summit is billed to hold on Friday, 17th September 2021 at Igboora in ibarapa Central.
