Yesterday, at No 2,Prince Tunde Balogun Street Idimu, the Official office of Adekunle Adegunle Global Foundation was crowded in it’s usual way being the last Monday of the month, with about 500 beneficiaries eagerly awaiting to be part of the feeding scheme.
Barr Adekunle Adegunle while addressing the public expressed gratitude for their presence and also once again appealed to the beneficiaries to be sensitive when electing leaders into various public offices, who could have bring succor to the current economic woes of the country.
The short speech took a different turn as he made mentioned that he was at Ijegun last week to celebrate his birthdays with widows and to mark the third year anniversary of the foundation, with a rousing chant of joy and felicitation congratulated an energetic and always welcoming Adekunle popularly known as “OKO OPO” ( HUSBAND OF WIDOWS)
The women who said that there hopes are hinge on the foundation monthly program, acknowledge that they have registered the “last Monday of the month” to their calendar.
Adekunle Adegunle Global Foundation_ . Though based in the lowly Idimu Town, it has an enviable track record of having impact the lives widows and the vulnerable across Lagos , Alimosho especially.
Asked how he funds his project, the Founder, Barrister Kunle Adegunle, said he was only being a “God’s link between those in need and those with blessings of God seeking to reach them”…
