Unnecessary Deduction, Access Bank Customers Berate Poor Banking Service

The deception of Nigerian banks can not be over emphasized as many growing SMEs and individual believed that the banking system only favour the rich, the fraud being perpetrated by banks in Nigeria, over excessive charges and unnecessary deduction coupled with poor banking services is heart wrenching.

The self acclaimed Africa’s Best Bank for SMEs 2020, Best Mobile Banking App, Access Bank Nigerian PLC has continued to torment the life of oridinary Nigeria with unsolicited deductions, poor customer services and an epileptic USSD platform.

The experience of customers banking with Access Bank has been described as monumental disaster, where reversal of money becomes the most difficult task.

The sad stories is that, while other banks respond to issues raise by customers on the digital space, Access Bank take pride in ignoring customer’s , the banking hall is another sad tale as customers are treated in a distateful manner.

A visits to several of the bank’s branches shows a gathering of disappointed and frustrated customers who have been dealt with by Access bank blow and didn’t even know what to do about the unfortunate situation, Eaglespath report.

“This bank is a shit, they only do what pleases them not their customers. How can you hold my inflow funds for almost a month without release it to my account or return it to the sender? and I have DM you several times but none has ever reply to my complain, I really regret it” an angry customer tweet.

“Am seriously annoyed at the way this bank debit my account, it’s really not funny and that will lead me to quit using this bank” an angry comment on facebook.

The perfect picture of being one of the best banking brand as being painted by Access bank can be seen on Social media as customer’s on daily basis vent their anger on poor banking services and illegal deduction.

Unfortunately it seems Access Bank choose who to reply to on Social Media, unfortunately the sad reality of keeping valuables with a self acclaimed leading institution in Nigeria is worrying, a thorough view on social media by Eaglespath shows that Access bank only use the phrase “Send a DM, or DM account details and issues” as a ploy , as most customers issues aren’t being attended to.

The below screenshots of reactions, tweet and comments by Access bank customers better paints the pictures of the gloomy situation caused by the bank on daily basis.

As Access bank continues to make the oridinary Nigeria feel inferior and depressed through analogue mode of operations, adding to the present economic challenges in the country, customers are of the opinion that Access bank had better stop buying new banks on daily basis and better channel her energy on making their banking system better.
